As a former teacher and lover for Japanese and Korean culture, I created a project to help teach kids Japanese in a fun way! Boxtomodachi is characters that I created using photoshop shapes. I decided to create fun friends for children and parents who want their children to learn the culture and to be more bilingual. I created a family called Boxtomodachi which means Box Friends that relate to the Japanese language. Their names are Mustard Dachi, Mustard Ongaku, Mr. and Mrs, Mustard and Cookie Meow their pet cat. I have created coloring books that involve teaching children Japanese, such as colors in Japanese.
